"The gingerbread cookies we had were delicious. Can you make them shaped like women too?" -Naishka, 2nd grader at Selser Elementary.
Do you remember school lunch being one of the most important parts of your day? What was being served, how it looked, if the lines were long, whether or not there were tater tots…

Well, we are ALWAYS looking for feedback from our Chicopee students, and they are quick to point out their favorite, and least favorite, parts of their school meals.

Recently, we invited a second grade class at Selser Elementary School to submit any questions they had about our school menus and the food we serve. Our plan was to select one of the questions and feature it, with an answer, on next month’s menu. We never expected the selection process would be so difficult!

We received some of the most thoughtful and poignant questions from the students and picking just ONE was very difficult.

So, we decided a few things:

1)      We would go directly to the classroom the first chance we got and talk to the students directly about all their questions. And,

2)      Post some of the questions here and on our facebook page, Chicopee FRESH.

Enjoy!
